The Cabinet has approved a national project to solve sewage pollution by purifying it through "amazing" bacteria which completely purify water in seven minutes. The government has also banned trafficking in this kind of bacteria.
The President of the Cabinet’s National Center planning the use of State-owned lands Omar al-Shawadfi has uncovered a huge national project to extract these "magic" bacteria from the desert.
Dr. Radwan Allam is the one who discovered these bacteria. He has studied ancient Egyptian civilization and history in this area during the past 25 years in Japan.
Speaking to Al-Masry Al-Youm, al-Shawadfi has described this discovery as a "breakthrough". He said that these bacteria are called mostivit and live in the deserts, which were submerged by oceans in ancient times. They also live in the pyramids and the solar boats.
These bacteria have an extraordinary capacity to reduce organic materials in a few minutes, he said.
The pharaohs used these bacteria from ancient times, but no one has paid attention to them in the present era, al-Shawadfi said, adding that Japan is using these bacteria and prohibits their exportation.
The Cabinet is currently considering charging a sovereign government body with this huge project in the interest of the Egyptian people.
The cabinet has given these bacteria the status and the value of "gold and oil" and will issue a decision banning trafficking in them as was the case with antiquities.
A committee has been formed to study the implementation of the project. It includes the National Center planning the use of State-owned lands, the Ministries of Environment, Housing, Agriculture and Interior as well as the Fish Wealth Authority and water and environment police.
The places in which the bacteria live have been identified, al-Shawadfi said, adding : "We will not unveil these places now so that they are not commercially exploited."
It has been scientifically proved that these bacteria do not have any negative impacts on human beings. Source : By Mona Yassin, www.almasry-alyoum.com 1/ 2/ 2009
