The General Assembly of the Ottawa Diplomatic Association - ODA - elected its new Executive Committee Ottawa, May 8, 2007
We are pleased to inform that the Ottawa Diplomatic Association - ODA - held its IX General Assembly on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, from 6:15 to 8:25 p.m., at the British High Commission, 80 Elgin Street, Ottawa.
The General Assembly re-elected Ambassador of Romania, H.E. Elena Stefoi, as President and elected a new Executive Committee among its members. The new Executive Committee is detailed below.
The IX General Assembly’s also unanimously decided to award Mr. Malcolm McKechnie, Department of Foreign Affairs’ Chief of Protocol, Honorary Membership of the ODA, in recognition of his friendly and efficient cooperation with the Association.
The new membership’s fee up to May 8, 2007, was fixed as 60 Dollars, as unique membership’s symbolic contribution to the Association for the whole mission of each diplomat registered.
