The President will lead a delegation consisting of Deputy Ministers of Communications and Education, the Premier of Mpumalanga and senior government officials.
Other members of the delegation will include NEPAD and African Union senior officials, members of the Diplomatic Corps as well as members of the private sector.
The launch, at Maripe Secondary School in Bushbuckridge, will cover six schools across the country, making South Africa the seventh country to launch the project after Uganda, Ghana, Lesotho, Kenya, Rwanda, and Egypt.
The initiative is a joint venture between the South African Government, HP Consortium, Cisco Consortium, ORACLE Consortium, and the NEPAD e-Africa Commission. Source : NEPAD News, april 13, 2007
