Cameroon wants education for all, Minister tells NEPAD e-Schools launch
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), paving the way for the launch and implementation of the NEPAD e-Schools Initiative Demonstration Project in Cameroon, was signed in Yaounde on 14 May 2007. The signatories were the Cameroon Government, the NEPAD e-Schools Commission, Microsoft and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
Cameroon’s Minister of Education, Louis Bapes Bapes told the gathering of officials that the Government of Cameroon has put in place a national education plan for education for all. Introduction of ICTs in schools is key in this initiative.
