Mission to Ghana checks on NEPAD’s home-grown school feeding programme
The first joint mission of NEPAD and the World Food Programme (WFP) to visit pilot countries in the NEPAD home-grown school feeding programme took place in Ghana on 14-16 March 2007.
Agreement to undertake joint missions was reached following consultations between the Chief Executive Officer of NEPAD and the Deputy Executive Director of WFP in Abuja, Nigeria during the recent Food Security Summit.
