The NEPAD Secretariat and the Steering Committee consolidated the implementation of NEPAD programmes during 2006 and deepened the partnership among African countries and partners for Africa’s development, the Chief Executive of NEPAD, Prof. Firmino Mucavele, said in his progress report to the 29th meeting of the NEPAD Steering Committee in Brazzaville, Congo, on 19-20 January 2007.
